Bobby Pearce Foundation

The Foundation, formed in 2003, seeks to bring together those who have been members of Australian Rowing Teams who have represented at World Championships and Olympic Games, and is named after Australia’s first Olympic rowing gold medallist.

The main purpose of the Foundation is to support current and future national team rowers particularly those rowers selected to compete in the World Under 23 (formerly Senior B) regatta or in the World Junior Championships and those selected for World Championships in non-Olympic boat categories.

A Trust has been established to ensure that contributions will not be used to reduce the support of Rowing Australia, the Institutes or State Associations. The money will only be used to reduce the amount the individual has to find, after the contributions from those bodies have been received.
