Rowing Six Lane Progression - No Repechages
Racing for all Championship and non-Championship events will take place over six lanes using the six lane progression system - excluding repechages.
1 - 6 Entries
- Final A Only
7 - 12 Entries
- Two Semi-Finals (Heats), Finals A and B
- The first three crews of each semi-final go forward to Final A.
- The remainder go forward to Final B.
- No crews are eliminated.
13 - 18 Entries
- Three heats, two semi-finals, Finals A, B and C
- The first four crews of each heat go forward to semi-final A and B, the remainder to final C
- The first three crews of semi-finals go forward to final A. The remainder go forward to Final B.
- No crews are eliminated.
19 - 24 Entries
- Four heats, four semi finals, Finals A, B and C
- The first three crews of each heat go forward to the semi-finals A and B; the remainder go forward to semi-finals C and D.
- The first four crews in semi-finals A and B go forward to Final A, the remainder of semi-finals A and B go forward to Final B. The first two crews of semi-finals C and D go forward to final B, the remainder go forward to final C.
- No entrants are eliminated.
25 - 42 Entries
- Six heats, six semi-finals, Finals A, B, C and D
- The first four crews of each heat go forward to semi-finals A, B, C or D; the remainder go forward to semi-finals E or F.
- The first two crews of semi-finals A, B, C or D go forward to Final A. Crews coming third or fourth in semi-finals A, B, C or D go forward to final B. The remaining crews of semi-finals A, B, C or D go forward to final C. The first four crews of semi-finals E or F go forward to final D. The remainder from semi-finals E or F are eliminated.
- Up to 12 entrants are eliminated.
