In 2003, the Australian Olympic Committee generously gifted to RA the fleet of boats it acquired for the 2000 Olympic Games. These boats, combined with RA's fleet, formed the assets of the Olympic Boat Fleet Trust.
The purpose of the Trust is to manage and protect RA's equipment assets to ensure that future national teams compete at the international level with state of the art equipment.
The financial statements of the Trust are published each year as part of the RA annual report.
