Marketing and Communications Manager for 2015 Sydney International Rowing Regatta
Rowing Australia is looking to employ a part-time Marketing and Communications Manager for the 2015 Sydney International Rowing Regatta. Reporting to the SIRR Project Manager the primary responsibility of the Marketing and Communications Manager will be to develop and implement a strategic Marketing and Communication plan to drive ticket sales for 2015 Sydney International Rowing Regatta. The Marketing and Communication Manager will use their experience to build awareness of the Australian National Championship events and interest in the sport of Rowing in Australia. Kinross Wolaroi School – Rowing Performance Coach
Kinross Wolaroi School (KWS) is a Uniting Church, Co-educational Day and Boarding School located in Orange, NSW, Australia. It caters for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 and has a strong record of academic, cultural and sporting achievement. Support for the culture of an Independent Church School is a prerequisite.
The KWS Rowing Program, established in 2004, is regarded as one of the premier school rowing programs in Australia. At the 2014 Australian Rowing Championships, the school won an unprecedented 10 medals. The school also won two Rowing NSW Premiership Shields with two coaches awarded the Rowing NSW Schoolboy and Schoolgirl coach of the year awards respectively. The rowing program caters for approximately 100 students, with the predominant focus of racing in sculling boat classes. Following the outstanding performances in 2014, our Rowing Performance Coach has successfully applied to join a larger rowing program.
Applicants are now being sought to fill the vacant Rowing Performance Coach position at KWS.
The successful applicant will work in a positive performance environment and will inherit a pool of talented rowers. Expressions of interest are welcome from male and female coaches who have a strong work ethic, willingness to operate as part of a team and a willingness to work with rowers across all age groups. We are open to discuss a range of part-time, full-time or short-term employment arrangements, as well as the possibility of combining the coaching role with a teaching position at the school. We are eager to hear from coaches with a range of rowing experience, including less experienced coaches looking to enhance their coaching careers.

Australian Rowing Team Head Coach – Performance and
Australian Rowing Team Senior Coach
Rowing Australia, as the national governing body for rowing in Australia, is offering international level coaches a rare and exciting opportunity to join our world class rowing program in the lead up to the Rio Olympic Games in 2016.
With the recent redeployment of one of our Senior Coaches to our Western Australia Training Centre, Rowing Australia has taken the opportunity to review the structure and operations of the National Training Centre in Canberra and offers two coaching positions for consideration, Australian Rowing Team Head Coach – Performance and Australian Rowing Team Senior Coach.
Rowing Australia are seeking applications from suitably qualified rowing coaches to work in the heart of our high performance program. The primary focus of these roles is: to lead, manage, drive and coach the daily training environment for nationally identified athletes at our National Training Centre at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. The Head Coach – Performance role will involve participation on the National Leadership Team contributing to the broader leadership of the national program.
These positions are available for the successful candidates to start from September 2014; a salary package commensurate with each of the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience will be negotiated.
