Lisa Brown

Home town: Melbourne

Place of residence: Ashwood Melbourne

Occupation: Completing a Bachelor of Environments, with a major in Environmental Science and a rowing coach

Club: Yarra Yarra Rowing Club

Date of birth: 9/10/1990

Height: 160cm

Sporting hero: For me, it would have to be Lance Armstrong. First and foremost for his sheer talent to dominate the grueling Tour de France seven times. But I admire him even more for using his position to become a social icon, and draw attention to the Cancer cause to the level that he has.

Rowing career highlight(s):

  • Being undefeated in my first rowing season at school, including Head of the School Girls and the State Championship.
  • Training with my four ladies at YYRC and winning successive State titles with them.
  • Being involved with two wonderful LTA4+ crews and the incredible experience of two tours.

Interests: Playing sport
