Rowing Australia Classification Policy: now available

The Rowing Australia Classification Policy has been developed to clearly identify the different Adaptive Rowing Classifications recognised by Rowing Australia. The Policy explains the different classifications status that an athlete can be given, as well as the application process for gaining a National Adaptive Rowing Classification. In order for an adaptive rower to compete at the 2008 Australian Rowing Championships they must have a Rowing Australia Adaptive Rowing National Classification.

Due to the location of the current RA National Classifiers, Rowing Australia will be holding a National Athlete Classification Session at the 2008 Australian Rowing Championships in Penrith. This Classification Policy should provide you with a greater understanding of Adaptive Rowing Classifications, however please note that at this stage the next planned National Athlete Classification Session will not be prior to the 2008 Australian Rowing Championships.

Please see the attached Policy for further details.
